This 3 night visit to Camp Kalahari on the eastern side of the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park is designed to be easily combined with a safari in the Okavango Delta in Botswana: it is an economical option which offers similar activities to Jack's Camp, but has the feel of a comfortable camping trip.

Days 1-3 Kalahari's Salt Pans, Botswana

Arriving in Maun, you'll be transferred by vehicle to Camp Kalahari for 3 nights. This is a simple but comfortable camp set against a the magical backdrop of the Makgadikgadi saltpans. As big game is often scarce here, the camp focuses on unusual activities including guided walks, night drives, quad bike excursions (weather permitting), and visits to sites of archaeological interest. Camp Kalahari (full board & activities)

Day 4

If you are at the end of your trip, you will fly from Maun back to London via Jo'burg. If just beginning, you will be transferred back to Maun to head off (usually by light aircraft) on your chosen Botswana safari. Either way, road transfers to your onward connection are included in the cost of this add-on.
