This fantastic 9 night fly-in safari takes in Tarangire National Park, as well as two different areas of the Serengeti, the far north and the south; you can therefore experience the the gentle rolling country of the quiet and wild north and short grass plains of the south.

Day 1

Depart London Heathrow on a scheduled British Airways overnight flight, for Arusha Airport via Dar es Salaam.

Days 2-3 Tarangire National Park, Tanzania

Arrive at Arusha airport mid-morning, where a superior guide will meet and drive you through Arusha and into the country-side. Enjoy charming scenery on your way to Tarangire's park gate, then once inside start watching out for some of the park's varied wildlife before arriving at…

Oliver's Camp (full board & activities)

Whilst based at this friendly and well-run camp, explore the surrounding area either on foot or in a open 4x4 vehicle using the camp's own excellent guides. You will find good game here especially during the dry season when animals are attracted to the nearby marshes.

Days 4-5 Serengeti Migration Area, Tanzania

In the morning after breakfast, catch a light aircraft into the southern Serengeti where your private driver will meet you. Meander back to camp, stopping to see any interesting game you pass on your way. Then arrive in time for a lovely lunch at the luxury semi-permanent ….

Suyan Camp (full board & activities)

This smart mobile camp moves around the Southern Plains of the Serengeti National Park which harbour good game – and you'll explore the area using your own private open 4x4 vehicle and superior guide.

Days 6-8 Serengeti Migration Area, Tanzania

After exploring the south, hop on to another flight which will take you up to the seriously remote northern Serengeti. An open 4x4 and camp guide will meet you upon arrival and take you on a game drive whilst en-route to the luxurious bushcamp…

Sayari Camp (full board & activities)

Sayari is the only permanent camp this far north in the Serengeti National Park and is a wonderful place to spend 3 nights. The resident game around here is very good in this magnificent wilderness area. However, around August to November the great migration is likely to also be here, so it's an ideal base for seeking out spectacular crossings of the Mara River.

Day 9

After your last morning on safari, fly to Kilimanjaro Airport and then either continue onto one of our beach holiday add-ons, or connect with your evening British Airways flight to London via Nairobi.

Day 10

Arrive at London Heathrow early in the morning, with plenty of time to make onward connections home.
