Leatherback turtle add-on

This stylish beach add-on trip spends 6 nights at Azura Mozambique, the new lodge on Benguerra Island in Mozambique's Bazaruto Archipelago; it includes flights to/from Johannesburg, and promises to be a perfect beach break, and a great place to be pampered after one of our safaris to Botswana or Zambia, or our trips to Namibia: a great end to a safari holiday.

The flights from Johannesburg to Mozambique (Vilanculos), which are a vital part of this trip, leave in the morning. Hence most travellers overnight in Johannesburg before this trip – and at the end of it many will connect directly through to international flights back to Europe.

Azura Mozambique Leaving Johannesburg at about 10:20 in the morning, your scheduled flight with Pelican Air takes you to Mozambique. By around 13:00 you are in Vilanculos, where you stop briefly (for immigration and customs formalities) before hopping on a 10-minute flight to the islands. There you'll disembark, to be met by a vehicle for the short drive to …

Day 7
After your last morning's leisurely breakfast, you'll take the light aircraft back to Vilanculos – arriving there around 13:00 to complete customs and immigration formalities.

Your flight to Johannesburg usually departs at around 14:00, before arriving at Johannesburg International Airport (O.R. Tambo) at about 16:30 – in perfect time to connect with overnight flights back to Europe.
