Large-spotted Genet safari

This varied Botswana safari concentrates on two great game areas: the dry Linyanti Reserve, and the much lusher Okavango Delta, where you will stay for a total of 9 nights in three top safari game camps: Kwetsani Camp, Chitabe, and Savuti Camp. Although the bird-watching is first-rate in these reserves, the trip really focuses more on big game at Chitabe and Savuti – in areas which have excellent populations of lion, leopard, and cheetah. The trip is an individual trip – not a group trip – so talk to us to tailor-make a similar holiday for you.

This Botswana safari can also easily be combined with a visit to Zambia to see the Victoria Falls. See our trips to Livingstone for examples of the add-on options, and the costs.

A scheduled overnight flight takes you from London Heathrow to Johannesburg.

Days 2-4 Okavango Delta Safari Reserves, Botswana
Kwetsani Camp Departing Johannesburg, a 2-hour scheduled Air Botswana flight takes you to Maun, where you transfer by light aircraft to the seasonal floodplains of the large Jao Reserve. Days 5-7 Okavango Delta Safari Reserves, Botswana
Chitabe Camp After your morning activity at Kwetsani, you will board another light aircraft for a short hop to your next camp. During your 3-night stay, activities focus on day and night game drives, and sometimes guided walks at the relaxed-

Days 8-10 Kwando-Linyanti area, Botswana
Savuti Camp From Chitabe, you take a light aircraft flight north to the Linyanti Reserve. The open savannah, woodlands and waterholes that make up this landscape are home to a wide variety of bird and wild life, especially large hers of elephant. If you get a chance, spend some time in the elephant hide by the waterhole during your 3 night stay at –
