This 2 night stay near the Victoria Falls is designed to be easily combined with a safari to Botswana: you stay in one of the tents on the lovely Islands of Siankaba - the rooms are dotted around the edge of one of the two densely forested islands, with views out over large verandas and the river.

Days 1-2 Livingstone & Victoria Falls, Zambia

Arriving in Livingstone, you'll transfer to Islands of Siankaba by road and boat for 2 nights. During this time you can relax at the lodge, whilst having the option to join in with any of the many activities that Siankaba offers. Click below for further details of the accommodation at Siankaba –

As an additional extra, the adventurous will find adrenaline activities, including white-water rafting and bungee-jumping, readily available in the area.

Day 3

If you are at the end of your trip, you will fly from Livingstone back to London via Jo'burg. If just beginning, you will be transferred across to Botswana to head off onto your chosen Botswana safari. Either way, your transfers to your onward connection are included in the cost of this add-on.

Notes: • The prices shown are per person sharing; call us for single person supplements. • This add-on trip is designed as extension at the start or end of one of our Botswana safaris. It's also useful as a rough guide to the cost of adding a few days at the Islands of Siankaba to one of our safaris to Zambia's Kafue, South Luangwa or Lower Zambezi areas.

This itinerary includes:
• Internal road, air and/or boat transfers to link this short add-on to a longer Botswana safari;
• Your meals, tea and coffee, and most other drinks (including all soft drinks, house wines and local beers & spirits);
• Laundry service;
• Some activities:
– sunset boat trip on the Zambezi
– nature trail
– visit to the Zambian side of the Falls
– cultural tour to visit to a local African village.

This itinerary excludes:
• Champagne, specially imported spirits, fine vintage wines and similarly exotic alcoholic drinks (for which all safari camps & hotels will charge extra);
• Tips and gratuities (which are optional);
• Zambian airport departure taxes (normally US$25) per person for international departures;
• Activities in the Livingstone area that are not run by the Islands of Siankaba. For example – game drives, white-water rafting, bungee-jumping and flights of angels over the Falls.
