This wonderful 8-night fly-in safari allows you to visit three of the most famous parts of the northern safari circuit, including Lake Manyara National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti National Park; the use of very high quality luxury camps throughout makes this trip ideal for those celebrating a special occasion.

If you want to catch the great migration in the Serengeti, then ideal timing for this trip would be around April to July– when it's usually passing through the Western Corridor. Alternatively, if you're visiting between about October and December, then consider the very similar Avocet fly-in safari as an alternative to this trip.

After your safari, if you want to relax on the beach, then add one of our beach add-on trips to Zanzibar, Pemba, Ras Kutani or the Mafia Archipelago, to your itinerary.

Day 1

Set off from London Heathrow on your overnight British Airways flight to Kilimanjaro via Nairobi.

Days 2-3 Lake Manyara National Park, Tanzania

Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport where a driver will meet you for a 45-minute drive to Arusha Airport, to connect with a light aircraft flight to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara Tree Lodge (full board & activities)

As the only lodge within the park, staying at Lake Manyara Tree Lodge allows you to explore much further into the park than most other visitors. With a diverse range of habitats, game and birds, Manyara is a beautiful park to visit.

Days 4-5 Ngorongoro Crater & Conservation Area, Tanzania

After an early morning safari in Lake Manyara National Park, continue out of the park and into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After about an hour you reach the Crater rim where you can stop to admire the stupendous views, before heading on to the superbly decadent….

Ngorongoro Crater Lodge (full board & activities)

The Crater Lodge is one of the most luxurious lodges in Tanzania; every room has an unobstructed view of the Crater floor. Spend 2 nights here, and during your full day explore the fantastic game viewing on a long safari to the Crater floor, before returning for a cool drink and a waiting hot bubble bath.

Days 6-7 Serengeti Migration Area, Tanzania

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast overlooking the crater before transferring via light aircraft into the Serengeti National Park. Grumeti River Camp (full board & activities)

Spend your 2 nights here exploring the surrounding area where there is good resident game throughout the year. The Mbalageti and Grumeti River's attract plenty of zebra, wildebeest and also all the predators.

Day 8

After an early morning game-drive and a hearty breakfast, transfer via a light aircraft back to Kilimanjaro Airport. Either continue onto one of our beach add-on trips, or connect with your afternoon British Airways flight to London, via Nairobi.

Day 9

Arrive back at London Heathrow early in the morning, with plenty of time to catch onward connections home.
