The latest addition to the collection of well-appointed camps in the NamibRand Nature Reserve is Wolwedans Boulders Camp. None of our team has visited this new lodge personally, but here is what we know about it.
This small, exclusive satellite camp is situated 45km south of Wolwedans Dune Lodge and is reached by a 4WD scenic transfer. Built along the bottom of a granite boulder mountain the camp has only four spacious tents, sleeping up to eight guests. The main area at Boulders Camp includes a dining and lounge tent, a breakfast deck and open fire place. Close by is a well chosen sundowner spot overlooking the vast beauty of the NamibRand Reserve - well worth a visit on your first night.
Activities offered from Boulders Camp explore various aspects of the 450km2 reserve. Two to three hour guided walks are usually done in the morning whilst scenic drives in 4WD vehicles are offered in the afternoon. The camp itself is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the surrounding vistas.
We want you to understand more about Wolwedans Boulders Camp. We're also confident that a trip there with us cost you the same or less than booking it any other way, even directly. So follow the links below.
