The Tok Tokkie Trails in the NamibRand Nature Reserve, is run by the enthusiastic Mark and Elinor. Over three days and two nights, their team will guide you on a walking trail through the unique desert landscape. Meandering through low graceful dunes you might stop to examine a snakeskin or watch a herd of gemsbok. You only need carry a bottle of water and a camera as your luggage is transferred ahead of you. On a typical day you will picnic in the shade of weaverbirds' nests, dine in the shadow of an acacia and sleep on a camp bed directly under the stars. It's not for everyone, but it is magical.
Walking: Walk along gentle trails in the NamibRand Nature Reserve, taking in the flora and fauna of the desert landscape along the way.
