River Manor Guest House, set in the wine region of South Africa's Cape, benefits from national monument status. Set in the quaint town of Stellenbosch, the two historic buildings that make up River Manor have been attractively converted into accommodation with 18 rooms.
Decorated with a typical colonial style, River Manor tries to incorporate an African feel to the buildings and to the rooms. The style between the 18 rooms varies with opulent luxury in the 'superior rooms' (some with original Victorian baths) to comfortable, but small, 'petite' rooms. They all come with standard amenities such as TV and en-suite bathrooms and there is internet available also.
River Manor has a spa set within its grounds which offers a variety of treatments and experiences. There are also 2 swimming pools and a terrace where you can relax while having a sundowner.
