Pioneer Camp is situated just outside Lusaka, twenty minutes from the international airport. This camp offers comfortable accommodation in thatched chalets, each with a view of the surrounding woodland. There is an open sided, thatched bar and restaurant area which serves breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Often a braai (barbecue) is served in the evening and we're told the T-bone steaks are quite something!
Set in quiet bush and farmland, there are also opportunities for walking and birdwatching, and, with by prior arrangement, the lodge can organise for a guide to accompany guests on walks.
