The main Mombo Camp is one of Botswana's flagship operations - it's quite opulent and, in its way, stylish. It has nine luxurious tents, all raised high off the ground and connected by wooden walkways. All have great views, en-suite toilets and showers (plus a private outside shower), and fans in the rooms. Expect to be impressed by the high game densities, and depressed that it's often full. Be sure to book a long time in advance to avoid disappointment. Because of their game and also their fame, Mombo commands a very substantial supplement (typically £250-420 per person sharing per night) over and above the cost of most of Botswana's other camps.
