Set in probably one of Namibia's most scenic areas, Barchan dune is just 20km away from the impressive Spreetshoogte Pass and just 9km from Solitaire. It makes for a convenient stop over between Swakopmund and Windhoek en-route to Sesriem/Sossusvlei.
No one in the Expert Africa team has visited this lodge yet, but here is some information on what we know of it so far.
The lodge is small with only six rooms, which pretty much guarantee personal attention. The en-suite rooms are very basic but clean. There are hiking trails to explore this stunning area and a highlight is a sundowner drive to Spreetshoogte pass!

A real gem. This is a small little known place, originally a farm, they are now farming tourists !!
The walking here is fabulous and as was the welcome. Dinner was dinner party style and great fun...
