Hwange National Park- ZimbabweBordering Botswana, Hwange National Park is Zimbabwe's largest game park. Its sheer size means that its scenery, vegetation and game vary hugely, from open plains and Kalahari sands, to forests and hills. All the camps here offer game drives (day and night) and walking safaris. Deep within Hwange, the Linkwasha Wilderness area is a typical Kalahari environment, with huge expanses of bush with a scattering of open plains, palm trees and large herds of animals. Here Makalolo Plains, Little Makalolo and Linkwasha Camp are all high-quality camps with luxurious tents and lovely locations. They differ in size, style and ambience, but all offer really excellent dry-land safaris. East of this, The Hide remains a great camp with excellent guides. ^ Top of page |
